DALLAS, Texas – 12 Oaks Senior Living, a senior living management company based in Dallas, Texas, has hired Terese Corbin, RN, BSN, as clinical risk management director. Corbin has an extensive 25-year career in healthcare and seniors housing clinical leadership roles. Most recently, she worked as executive director for a large assisted living and memory care community in Dallas. Previously, she worked for a post-acute healthcare company, Oasis Healthcare, where she served as regional reimbursement specialist and director of risk management. Her background also includes regional work as a consultant and compliance officer.

Corbin holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Indiana State University and a master’s in jurisprudence with a certification in healthcare law, policy and management from Texas A&M University School of Law. She is also an Army combat veteran, having served 16 years as an accounting specialist and nurse.
