A Message from the CEO

Today we celebrate progress in our effort to eradicate COVID-19 from our 12 Oaks communities.

Over the last year and a half, we’ve continued to witness a strong, resilient spirit in each of you, and I am forever grateful and will never forget the strength and positive attitude you demonstrated in the face of adversity.

Since the first vaccines were administered at our communities in December, nearly 100% of our residents have been fully vaccinated. This has led to no new COVID-19 cases among residents for the past six months.

Our leadership teams have worked hard to reach team members with the message of combatting the virus by getting vaccinated, and we’re happy to see the number of fully vaccinated employees increase. Throughout the pandemic, every community has demonstrated our 12 Oaks Core Values of Character, Competency, Stewardship and Servanthood. Through hard work, we’ve relaunched dining and activities.

Please know that we’re continuing to remain vigilant in an effort to keep everyone safe in each of our communities. We’re adhering to precautionary and safety measures to protect our residents, team members and everyone who visits our communities.

In order to enhance our infection control protocols, we’re excited to welcome our new Chief Operating Officer and Clinical Officer, Lori Jones, to the 12 Oaks family. In this dual role, she’ll lead a team of regional managers and operations support staff in maintaining the operational and financial aspects of 12 Oaks. With her clinical experience, she’s also investing time to evolve our care programs and enhance safety surrounding COVID-19 protocols.

Keith Ashburn has taken on a new position as Senior Vice President. He’s tasked with growing and developing an external consulting model and expanding the 12 Oaks services to reach more seniors and their families. Together, our experienced leadership team will continue to demonstrate the quality, commitment and excellence of safety you’ve come to know at our communities.

Thank you again for your ongoing support of our 12 Oaks family. We look forward to many brighter days ahead.
